ANAR AMIN

Chief of Staff

Anar graduated with an Elementary Education degree from The University of Oklahoma in 2008 and pursued a Modern Dance degree, as well. She has also acquired two Masters degrees (MTeach and MArts) from the University College London’s Institute of Education in conjunction with the Institute of Ismaili Studies in 2011. Anar taught middle school math in Norman, Oklahoma for a short while before becoming an international secondary education teacher.

She has spent most of her life growing up in Dallas, TX, but moved around to teach in different countries (United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand) and cities in the US (Chicago, Los Angeles, Little Rock, Austin, Richmond, and Dallas). Anar completed 13 years of teaching and 7 of those years serving as a Superintendent for Central, Florida, Southwest, and West regions in the US before exiting the Aga Khan Development Network/Aga Khan Council for USA in 2021.Anar is now the Founder and CEO of her own firm, Anar Amin & Associates, and provides Chief of Staff services for Ruby Media (dba DHD Films) and TH Experiential, and did so recently for MMD Steel, Our Cause, Auro Limited, Dost Education, Chiefs for Change, Achieve Twin Cities, Breakthrough Public Schools, Mastery Schools, Teach for America Colorado and Teach For America South Louisiana.

Anar brings over fifteen years of experience from the startup, for-profit and non-profit management systems around the globe, from Essen, Germany; Dubai, UAE; and London, UK to over twenty cities in the US. She is an enthusiastic professional with leadership, staff development, program management, and instructional design experience. Her major strength lies in strategizing and leading cross-functional teams from initiation to implementation to bring about fundamental change and improvement in strategy and processes.

Anar is very passionate about her work and enjoys dancing very much. She hopes to one day write a children’s book on coping with loss, establish a school for underserved and underprivileged students, and be able to serve her wider community in different capacities.
