Boogie Pinckney

Boogie's career in the film industry began as an Assistant Director on acclaimed films such as Inside Man and Precious, as well as popular TV shows like Broad City and Law & Order CI. He later transitioned to writing and directing and has since become a prominent figure in the industry. Michael has written features, television pilots, and a variety of digital series that have gained widespread recognition. His feature film debut was distributed by Lionsgate, and he has directed a number of digital series, including Sole Kings for BRIC TV and Black Actress for Issa Rae Productions.

Boogie wrote and produced an award-winning film about sex traficking, The Trade. He also directed the pilot for Blue Flame, a new series about an all-female undercover police unit. Another of his films, God Bless You, has amassed over 3.5 million views on YouTube.
