DHD Films is looking for a versatile Motion Graphics Design intern to assist in projects as well as accumulate industry experience. You will be expected to demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various software programs to execute your tasks and responsibilities. Your responsibilities will range from graphic design, motion graphic design, concept design, and consistent communication with team members across departments.
Mission
To work closely with the Senior Motion Graphics Designer to take projects from concept to completion by crafting powerful visuals and implementing feedback.
Responsibilities
- Support Motion Graphics department in all stages of client projects.
- Have daily check-ins and constant communication with Senior Motion Graphics Designer, gaining first-hand industry experience in the process.
- Responsible for assigned tasks, ranging from concept ideation, style frames, storyboards, animations, and implementing internal and client feedback.
- Create animated graphics and videos in line with DHD Films standards.
- Design external-facing marketing collateral for DHD Films such as animated social posts and assets for DHD website and social media videos.
- Stays current on company and industry trends in order to best organize and present video content.
Qualifications
- Current student or graduate with bachelor’s degree in a graphic design, fine arts, computer animation or another related field.
- Working knowledge of Motion Graphic Design software. This includes, but not limited to, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere. Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, or other 3D graphics software is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Apple computer systems and programs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks at a time and meeting established deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Background in developing, communicating, and executing creative solutions.
- Understanding of current trends in design.

- Participation in community service/organizations
- Marketing and optics experience
- Ability to design diverse graphic styles
- Certifications in related software or design Internship credit and stipend offered upon completion of internship.
