Alexine Tranquada is a global pharmaceutical and biotech leader who brings deep expertise in customer insights, market access, marketing, and business development. Her passion lies in improving patient outcomes and building more equitable, sustainable healthcare ecosystems. Working with DHD Films she is helping to translate complex science into stories that connect — and ultimately, drive better outcomes for patients and the industry alike.

Throughout her career, she has led impactful commercial strategies at Schering-Plough and Merck, where she played a key role in evaluating therapeutic assets, advancing public health initiatives, and contributing to high-profile acquisitions.

Alexine’s actively advises early-stage biotech and health tech companies, while serving on the boards of several mission-driven organizations, including the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and Gwen Lily Research Foundation. Whether mentoring emerging leaders through HBA and the Young Women’s Preparatory Network or supporting breakthrough innovations through Health Wildcatters, MassChallenge, Healthcare Shares, SpringBoard, Ignite and UTSW’s Dolphin Tank. Alexine is committed to lifting up people and ideas that will shape the future of healthcare.

Outside of work, Alexine enjoys traveling, competing in triathlons, and spending quality time with her husband Warren and their three children, Ella, Calvin, and Miles.
