Dash is a Montana native and filmmaker currently residing in Austin, Texas. She has a particular interest in producing films that focus on marginalized communities such as Queer, people with disabilities, house-less individuals, aging women, and those in long-term relationships. Her work also centers on music narratives, with a particular focus on highlighting the contributions of female and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) musicians throughout history.
Dash's filmmaking approach is marked by her passion for telling stories of unlikely friendships and underdogs who triumph in the face of adversity. As a Directors Guild of America (DGA) Director and writer for hire, she brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her work, ensuring that each project she undertakes is executed to the highest standard.
