Description 

A DHD multimedia specialist embodies the intersection of many parts of the creative process: client collaboration, shooting, and editing. As a multimedia specialist, you are DHD’s swiss army knife embedded in-part at the client site to help move their story forward. You will be a client’s resident subject matter expert for all things film as you work to elevate their brand through event coverage, social content, and concepted pieces

Responsibilities

Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned

  • Capturing key Interviews and event b-roll
  • Award-worthy edits
  • Management of client-side storage solution
  • 5-minute morning standup with Head of Post
  • Meet with clients to establish their expectations and needs
  • Advise clients on what is technically possible and produce a proposal including, for example, the range and scope of the work and realistic timescales and costs
  • Collaborate with other specialists, including writers, graphic artists, video producers and corporate colleagues to incorporate their work into the final product

Qualifications

  • Three to ten years of related experience in a newsroom, corporate or agency environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing, research and proofreading
  • Video creation and editing skills
  • Experience fielding and developing copy/content to use in communication channels
  • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization
  • Experience executing projects such as print or web production
  • Working knowledge of professional Social Media applications
  • Experience with CMS and graphics
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
