Liketoknow.it is RewardStyle’s consumer facing ready to shop content platform, making beautiful and original, mobile-first influencer content actionable for millions of socially inspired shoppers worldwide.
When it came time to introduce their mobile app to the world RewardStyle needed a video that would both educate potential consumers about how this revolutionary app works, but also convey the fun and cutting edge fashion forward qualities that have become synonymous with their brand. To do this, they turned to DHD Films. Being that fun and cutting edge are both qualities that we pride ourselves on, we were more than happy to oblige them.
The undertaking wasn’t without it’s challenges though. RewardStyle was working under a tight deadline which for us meant a super quick turnaround. We knew that to accommodate this expedited timeline, it was going to be crucial to go into the shoot with a rock-solid concept that was efficient in its approach but also delivered on the client’s needs.
After several hours of brainstorming and consuming significant amounts of caffeine, we honed in on an approach to successfully instruct consumers on how to navigate the app while also conveying a light, fresh and fun tone that kept the viewer engaged and fully reflected the RewardStyle identity. This meant that on the day of the shoot, we knew exactly what we needed to get and the most efficient way to get it.
RewardStyle was thrilled with the results and used the video to great effect on their promotional media tour which included features in Forbes Magazine and on MSNBC. Their app was even featured on iTunes in the “New Apps We Love” section. They have also since reached out to us for multiple projects going forward and we are proud to count them as a more than a client, but as a long-term partner.
