CASE STUDY: RANGER ANTIQUE AIRFIELD IDENTITY FILM
Award Category: 2019 Pro-Bono Marketing
Ranger Antique Airfield nostalgically transports flight enthusiasts back to the Golden Era of US aviation. Opened in 1911, Ranger is one of the last grass municipal airports in the country. The consequences of losing this volunteer-maintained property would mean a major strike to the very history of American aviation.
DHD films stepped in to create a pro bono identity film for this historical airfield, as the town of Ranger, Texas itself cannot afford to maintain it without external help. The piece created humanizes the airport by evoking emotion from the people that love it so dearly. The 2:38 minute film became the crown jewel of Ranger Airfield’s marketing.
